Owner
Darcy Canu is a native of the North Central
Massachusetts region, and has a history of fabrics
in her life. While growing up in the
Templeton/Gardner MA. area, she was encouraged to
take basic 4-H sewing lessons. Her innate ability to
create with her imagination and her hands was
greatly influenced by this artistic endeavor. Color,
texture, and how they can blend together still
fascinate her!
Today, years later, after
some Art school, industry certifications, ongoing
education in the field of decorating, attendance at
trade shows specific to this field, and a network of
excellent vendors, she creates by designing and
installing beautiful window treatments, and
interiors, for clients all over New England.
Valances and draperies
are just the beginning. When asked to help with
decorating and improving commercial or residential
spaces, she helps identify the clients’ needs by
careful consult, then begins the ‘layering’ of
function, personality and detail that defines the
very best interiors and windows.

She always asks that the client participate in the
decision making process, to ensure that the final
choices are the best ones! ‘If it’s not fun,
something’s wrong!’ The final designs and choices
are the ones that are arrived at by choosing the
best of the best, for every individual homeowner or
company.
